MIDTWEEDOUT
£1600.00
The Midnight Thistle Kilt Outfit is a modern highland dress look, usually worn for formal events.
Includes:
Handcrafted by our tailors, the jacket is made in Scotland from our 14oz custom midnight tweed and paired with a matching 5 button waistcoat. This accommodates various neckwear options such as a cravat or tartan tie as shown.
Matching the Midnight Tweed jacket with some of our in-house tartans such as Spirit of Loch Tay and Scottish Bluebell compliments the look perfectly, and works well with navy kilt hose and a matching sporran.
The kilt fabric is woven using the only machine in the world capable of inverting a weave in the fabric - this creates a unique, subtle Thistle emblem. The design features the Thistle emblem folded in between the pleats to the rear of the kilt. All of our kilts are made in Scotland using 8 yards of fabric which are machine stitched and hand finished. This kilt comes with leather sizing straps and buckles, allowing for slight size adjustment.
Classic Ghillie Brogues are included in the outfit, made from genuine leather uppers ensuring a comfortable and durable shoe.
Any outfit from Kilts and Trews can be completely customised; please feel free to get in touch with our sales team and we'd be more than happy to discuss the options that work best for you.
*Shirt, Tie and Cufflinks sold separately, not included with outfit
Our kilt outfits have quite a few different pieces to them. The shirt and socks should go on first followed by the flashes, sgian dubh and brogues. Next the kilt with kilt pin attached, tie, waistcoat and your chosen sporran. Lastly we can top it all off with your preferred jacket and waistcoat choice, this is the final touch that really stages your outfit and with our help compliment your chosen tartan perfectly.
